How to Remove Gas Stains From Concrete Flooring
- 1). Sprinkle a thick coat of either cat litter or baking soda over the gas stain. Both are absorbent and will pull the gas out of the concrete surface. Let the litter or baking soda sit for one hour.
- 2). Scoop up the soda or litter with a broom and dustpan and discard.
- 3). Drizzle dish soap over any leftover stain residue.
- 4). Scrub the soap into the concrete with a nylon scrub brush until all gas residue is gone.
- 5). Wipe the area with a wet rag and allow to air dry.
