How to Clean a Sticky Spot on a Leather Couch

    • 1). Wet a soft cloth with room-temperature water. Squeeze to remove excess water. The cloth should be damp, not dripping.

    • 2). Rub the cloth directly onto the sticky spot. Rub until the spot is removed.

    • 3). Mix one cup of warm water with one tbsp. of mild liquid dish soap or hand soap in a small bowl.

    • 4). Dip a corner of a soft cloth in the mixture. Rub the mixture directly onto the sticky residue. Continue rubbing until the residue is removed.

    • 5). Wipe the area free of soap residue with a soft, damp cloth.

    • 6). Wipe away any remaining water or moisture with a towel.
