    • 1). Take notice of the position in which the windshield wiper is laying. Note the difference in the top side and bottom side and remember this for when you attach it again.

    • 2). Pull the windshield wiper arm up like you are going to change the blades.

    • 3). Locate the threaded wiper arm stud around the base of the wiper arm.

    • 4). Place the thick folded cloth between the paint and the arm.

    • 5). Use the screw driver to pry underneath the stud.

    • 6). Pop out the stud, being careful not to scratch the paint or damage the stud.

    • 7). Repeat on the next arm.
