    • 1). Remove the screws in the armrest and the one securing the plastic cover behind the inside door handle using the Phillips screwdriver. Remove any screws at the bottom of the door panel if any are present. Insert the common screwdriver between the door panel and the door and pry out the trim fasteners on all three sides of the door panel.

    • 2). Pull the door panel back enough to unplug the window switch. Peel the moisture shield back, exposing the window motor and regulator. Unplug the window motor wiring harness. Tape the window so it remains in the up position when the regulator is removed.

    • 3). Push the center of the rivets out using the center punch and a hammer. Drill all the rivets out with the drill. Chisel the heads of the rivets off with the chisel and hammer. Remove the nuts on the equalizer bar using a socket and remove the bar.

    • 4). Slide the regulator rollers out of the channel under the window and remove the regulator from the door. Install the new regulator and motor by sliding the upper rollers in the window channel. Align the holes and either rivet the regulator to the door or insert the bolts and nuts and tighten with a socket. Install the equalizer and tighten the nuts.

    • 5). Plug the electrical connector into the window motor. Push the moisture shield back into position. Plug the electrical connector into the window switch. Install the door panel and the screws and tighten. Remove the tape from the window.
