How to Convert a Microsoft Word Document to a GIF
- 1). Open the Microsoft Word document you would like to convert to GIF.
- 2). Highlight the portion of the document you want to put in a GIF file. Copy your selection (press on the "Ctrl" and "C" keys on your keyboard at the same time). Do not copy more than one page of the document at a time. If the document you want to convert to GIF has several pages, you will have to copy and convert each page individually.
- 3). Open the Microsoft Paint program. Go to the "Start" menu, select "Accessories," and then select "Paint."
- 4). Paste your selection into Paint (press on the "Ctrl" and "V" keys on your keyboard at the same time).
- 5). Adjust the image as needed. The image you pasted should already be actively selected (you should see dashed lines along the border of the entire image, indicating that whole image is selected). Click on and hold any point inside the image to drag it to the position you want.
- 6). Go to the "File" menu, and select "Save As." In the "Save As Type" field, select "GIF." In the "File Name" field, give your new GIF file a name. Click on "Save."
