How to Design a Patio Sound System
- 1). Choose the speakers for your patio. There are a wide variety of speakers to choose from. Speakers are available that blend into almost any decor. There are even speakers available that hide inside fake rocks.
- 2). Screw the speaker brackets into the exterior wall of the home. Place the speaker under the overhang of the roof to offer some protection from wind and weather. Position the left and right speakers so that they are on either side of the patio. Mount the speakers into the bracket.
- 3). Drill a hole next to the bracket. Drill the hole through the wall and into the home.
- 4). Attach the speaker wire to the speaker. Thread the speaker wire through the hole and hook the wire to the left and right speaker outlets on the stereo tuner.
- 5). Caulk around the holes both inside and out to prevent air and insects from invading the home.
