How to Get Roller Fuzzies Off of a Newly Painted Wall

    • 1). Keep a paper towel on hand while painting.

    • 2). Wipe away any fuzzies with the paper towel, and immediately follow up with the paint roller to smooth out the area of wall.

    • 3). Prevent fuzzies from forming. Wrap a piece of masking tape around the entire roller, having the sticky side placed on the roller. Pull the tape off and repeat two more times. This will remove the majority of the loose lint from the roller. Follow up by vacuuming the roller with your hose attachment to collect any remaining lint.

    • 4). Start your painting job in the closet or an inconspicuous area. This way, if any fuzzies do transfer onto the wall during painting, they will be in an out-of-sight area and you will have the option to either clean the fuzzies up or let them go.
