How to Clean a Microfiber Couch Cover
- 1). Move a lint roller back and forth over the surface of the microfiber couch cover to pick up loose pet hair. Use the lint roller on all areas of the cover that come in contact with animal hair.
- 2). Vacuum the couch cover with an upholstery attachment to remove dirt and dust. Remember to clean beneath the cushions.
- 3). Remove dried stain matter by brushing it off with a natural bristle scrub brush. Brush the surface gently to loosen the stains and fluff the nap of the microfiber.
- 4). Tackle any remaining stains on the microfiber couch cover with a sponge and dish detergent. Place two drops of mild dish detergent on a damp sponge. Blot the stains to remove them. Once the discoloration is gone, blot the microfiber with a damp cloth.
- 5). Press dry cloths into the microfiber to absorb moisture. Allow the surface to air-dry. Brush the microfiber with a suede brush to blend the nap.
