How to Crochet a Lamb
- 1). Chain 17 stitches with the white yarn.
- 2). Single crochet in the second-to-the-last-chain and continue to single crochet in each stitch across the row. You will have 16 stitches.
- 3). Chain one stitch. Turn your work and single crochet in each stitch across the row. Repeat this row until the body is 5 inches long.
- 4). Chain one stitch. Turn your work and decrease one stitch by single crocheting two stitches together. Single crochet across the row up to the last two stitches, then single crochet them together, decreasing another stitch. You will have 14 stitches. Repeat this decreasing row four times until six stitches are left.

- 4). Embroider a nose and eyes onto the face using simple straight stitches for the eyes (the lamb’s eyes will appear closed as if sleeping) and either a slit (“-“) or a “y” for the nose. Use the tapestry needle and a contrasting piece of yarn for the facial features.
- 5). Stuff some batting into the face, and sew it into place on the body using the tapestry needle and a piece of white yarn.
- 6). Stuff the legs and the arm pieces, and sew them to the body in the same way as attaching the head.
- 7). Fold the ears in half (side to side), and sew them into place on the sides of the head.
- 8). Weave any long pieces of yarn into the body, and clip the shorter pieces.
