How to Get Crayola Washable Crayon Out of a Rug
- 1). Scrape excess dried crayon from carpet pile with the edge of a metal spoon.
- 2). Spray the crayon mark lightly with a spray lubricant and allow it to soak for five minutes.
- 3). Brush the stain with a firm toothbrush and wipe the excess lubricant with paper towels.
- 4). Spray the stain with lubricant again. Apply a few drops of dish soap to the stain.
- 5). Work the soap into the stain with the toothbrush.
- 6). Dampen a sponge with plain water and wipe the soap, lubricant and stain from the carpet. Repeat as necessary.
