How to Care for Lenox China
- 1). Lenox china is dishwasher-safe. Load Lenox china pieces into your dishwasher securely, leaving space between each piece. Do not allow other objects, particularly metal objects, such as pans, to touch the china. Add a mild dish detergent to the dishwasher and place it on a mild washing cycle. When the dishwasher is finished, allow the china to fully dry before removing it.
- 2). Wash your china pieces by hand if you do not have a dishwasher. Use a mild detergent and a soft sponge. Lenox warns consumers to never use harsh, abrasive cleaning materials. Before washing, place a rubber mat in the sink to help avoid chipping the china.
- 3). Store your Lenox china with cushioning. Stack pieces by placing a paper towel, china separator or other type of cushion in between every piece. Hang cups separately.
- 4). Maintain the integrity of your china by serving hot food in serving pieces only after ensuring the pieces are at room temperature, according to Lenox.
