    • 1). Grab the clamp on the end of the gas line on the carburetor with the pliers. Pinch the clamp and slide it down the gas line several inches. The gas line runs between the gas tank and the side of the carburetor.

    • 2). Pull the gas line off the carburetor with your hand and direct it into the bucket to catch the old gas/oil solution.

    • 3). Spray carburetor cleaner into the side of the carburetor gas line hole for 10 seconds. Reattach the gas line.

    • 4). Grab the fuel bowl on the base of the carburetor with the pliers. Unscrew it counterclockwise. Dump out the old gas/oil mix in the fuel bowl.

    • 5). Spray carburetor cleaner into the fuel bowl and onto the float and valves above the fuel bowl. If the fuel bowl gasket fell out, push it back in and then screw the fuel bowl back on tightly.
