Instructions

1

Recognize the differences between fear and faith. Fear is a learned response whereas faith is instinctual. Faith starts with a belief our parents will take care of us as children and progresses into a deeper belief of continual care.
2

Journal about fear. Explore through journal writing your core fears. List each fear and where you believe it originated. Time yourself and spend 10 minutes writing your uncensored beliefs about each fear.
3

Dialog with fear. Write a dialogue with a particular fear. This time, try to participate as an outsider. Have one hand write as fear and the other hand respond as strength. Trust in what you write and the advice you receive.
4

Reverse fear. Now think about how life would be different if you didn't have that fear. For example, "If I wasn't afraid to fly I would be free to travel and enjoy life." Do this with each fear.
5

Write a list of your beliefs. Determine what constitutes faith for you. Make a list of ways to incorporate theses beliefs into your life. Then make a conscious choice between fear and faith.
