How to Use a Pampered Chef Stoneware Cookie Sheet
- 1). Thoroughly wash the cookie sheet in hot water, without soap, before use. Dry completely.
- 2). Spray a light coating of cooking spray on the cookie sheet. Repeat this for the first three to four uses of the cookie sheet to bake the oil into the stoneware and season the pan. Do not apply cooking spray to seasoned stoneware.
- 3). Preheat the oven to the temperature required in the recipe. Place the cookies with at least two inches between them on the stoneware, but do not overcrowd them.
- 4). Bake the cookies in the oven at the prescribed temperature. Do not place another pan or rack above the cookie sheet while baking. Add two minutes for cooking times less than 12 minutes; otherwise, bake for the time dictated in the recipe.
- 5). Use an oven mitt to remove the cookie sheet from the oven. Allow the sheet to cool before scraping extra food off with a food scraper. Wash the stoneware cookie sheet in hot water. Do not use soap or place the stoneware into the dishwasher.
