How to Remove Grease From Cement
- 1). Put on rubber work gloves and eye protection to properly prepare yourself for the cleaning project
- 2). Clear all objects from the cement space, then vacuum up all loose dirt and debris.
- 3). Remove the cap on the garden sprayer and carefully pour the concrete degreaser into the tank.
- 4). Replace the garden sprayer cap and pump the tank according to the sprayer's user manual.
- 5). Apply the degreaser onto the cement floor using the sprayer. Pump the tank periodically to retain constant pressure. Cover the entire cement surface with an even coat.
- 6). Allow the degreaser to soak into the cement and break apart the grease for a half hour, then scrub the degreaser into the cement floor with a nylon brush. Pay particular attention to any heavy grease deposits.
- 7). Immediately rinse the floor clean with pressurized water from a garden hose to complete the project.
