How to Remove Sharpie Stains From Suede
- 1). Saturate a cotton swab with rubbing alcohol or hand sanitizer.
- 2). Dilute vinegar with equal parts of water to create an alternative natural cleanser. The vinegar may initially cause the suede to smell, but the odor will fade after a couple of days.
- 3). Blot the cotton swab onto the stained area, and the stain should disappear.
- 4). Use a white eraser or a suede stain-removing brush to rub on the stain until it is removed. Avoid using a colored eraser as it may deposit residue color onto the suede.
- 5). Take the suede article to a professional cleaning service if the stain remains.
