Every Second Counts!

Several buses and cars were trailing what appeared to be a football team coming from either a college or large high school judging by the number of busses, cars and trucks that were traveling with the same state tags.
I was driving with my oldest daughter being my second pair of eyes, my youngest daughter in the back seat dozing off back and forth between our conversations.
All of a sudden my oldest daughter tells me, "slow down mom there's something in the middle of the road I cannot see but cars are starting to go around in order not to hit whatever it is ahead of us.
" Less than ten seconds after she said this to me I saw lights coming from my immediate left which I was in the outer lane traveling south, so this was abnormal.
There were two lights in the horizontal direction amongst the forest of trees in the mountains of the Carolina's, it was as if you were looking at a traffic light only this time, the lights were white...
larger circles...
only two of them...
spaced more apart than your regular traffic light and drilled them into a tree.
The next thing I notice was how the cars were beginning to instantly separate some parked on the left of the freeway...
some parked on the right side of the freeway...
people walking into the middle of the freeway as if something had blown off their cars into the highway and needed to be cleared before a major backup in traffic.
I pulled over to the right of the freeway onto the grass so that I would be off the gravel so that other cars could get pass, before I could put the car in park my oldest daughter had ran back towards the crowd yelling, "Is there anything I can do to help?" I'm lost trying to figure out exactly what was going on running behind her when I saw the horizontal lights up close it wasn't an enlarged traffic light it was a car that was smashed between two trees and flipped on the side to look as if it was in the distant an enlarged traffic light.
I was praying after seeing this it wouldn't be as bad as it appeared...
but...
after seeing the car I rushed over to a small group of people standing in a small circle...
on my immediate right sitting on the grass staring into nowhere bleeding down the right side of her face with glass in her face and her was a woman...
across from was a tall thin man whose right hand was bleeding non-stop.
An older gentleman of the group began saying, "there was an accident we were a witness too, this car had a blow out or a flat tire I should say, they was at a pretty good speed when out of nowhere the car went swerving from one way to the next we could tell the driver lost control of the vehicle and the spiraled until it didn't stop until next thing we saw was the car flipped like you see it now.
" After hearing how the accidents happen & and seeing the end result of the vehicle, I was thanking God not for the physical condition of the lady and the man but for their lives, for surely it could have been fatal.
Then out of nowhere the inevitable happens...
a man walks over to the car with a flashlight and yells, "there's someone else in the car I don't think I will be able to get her out, I'm going to need help, no everybody stay back don't come any closer, just stay back.
" Two men walks over to him he whispers something to them from their reaction I knew it wasn't good news, then we were told the lady in the vehicle was indeed dead.
My daughter came over to me with big tear drops saying, "mom did you hear the lady that just seconds ago was alive traveling with her family is dead, she woke up this morning going on a trip or God knows where with her family and now she's dead mom.
" I couldn't stop crying long enough myself to even think...
speechless is an understatement at this point.
Some say every minute counts in your life arbitrary to belief tonight was a living witness every second counts!
