    • 1). If you walk around with your head down to long you will miss plenty of opportunities that may come your way. It is said God closes doors and open windows so we can look out the window and see when opportunity knocks. When people get divorced they normally choose to isolate themselves as way of protecting themselves from being hurt again. themselves. Just because you don't see yourself behind prison bars doesn't mean you cant imprison yourself behind scars.

    • 2). Even though you don't feel like it you need to spend some times with friends. Laugh a little try to find a way to enjoy being single again. Plan out a vacation or a getaway for yourself. Sometimes when your heart gets broken its good to go someone where different for a while to heal. You just need to know that time heals all wounds. Try to find the good in the situation. Maybe you got a degree while you were married. Maybe you accumalated a large savings account. Maybe you learned to cook. etc. Just find the good so you don't fool yourself into thinking you wasted however many years of marriage.

    • 3). You can use a divorce as a way to not trust men or not trust women anymore and decide to sleep around and not make any commitments. All you are doing is trying to cause someone else pain just because you felt pain that is wrong. Now you are doing what someone else did to you as a way of healing. You should never try to heal by wounding someone else. Can you imagine being on a battle field nursing a gun shot wound on one of your soldiers and they turn around and shoot you so you can feel the pain as well. This is what some of us do to other people just so we can heal. With all the diseases like AIDS around do you really think its worth it.

    • 4). Some people choose to drink their pain away this is also destructive. Did you notice I said choose, this is important. Why can't we choose to be happy where we are, instead of trying to drink ourselves to happiness where we are not. Is the answers to your problem really in a bottle. If I introduced you to people in wheelchair's with out legs and arms, and children paralysed from the neck down do you think you could find a way to move on then?
