How to Design Your Own High Top Sneakers
- 1). Go to the Converse website (see references). Select the shoe type, style and material you'd like and click on the image of the blank shoe you like at the bottom of the selection screen. Depending on the styles you choose, you may not have a high-top option. If that's the case, clear the refinements you've set and just scroll through the shoe images.
- 2). Follow the customization plan to select colors and prints for the outside body, inside body, heel stripe, tongue, lining, rubber sidewall, racing stripe, stitch and laces.
- 3). Select a personal ID for your shoe along with your size.
- 4). Click the "Add to Cart" button and finish purchase options.
- 1). Go to the Nike website, filter the products to get the style and size you like and click on a hi-top sneaker that says "Customize with NIKE ID."
- 2). Click "Start Blank" if you'd like to start the shoe from scratch, or, if you like the colors they've already started with, just click on the image of the shoe.
- 3). Click on the different parts of the shoes to select the colors and materials you want. The eleven features you need to choose are the base, tip, underlay, ankle strap, collar, swoosh, lining, stitching, laces, sidewall and outsole.
- 4). Type in text that will appear on your shoe.
- 5). Click "Add to Cart" and proceed through the purchase instructions.
- 1). Begin with a clean pair of white or light-colored high-top sneakers. Canvas works best to hold the marker ink.
- 2). Use colored permanent markers to write or draw designs.
- 3). Switch out the white laces and replace with the color of your choice.
