American Garden Awards 2010

I love the Profusion series of zinnias. They're not as large and flashy as some zinnias, but they are wonderful plants. They don't get mildew, insects leave them alone and they are constantly in bloom. Their only drawback is that they don't self-seed in my garden.

The most commonly seen Profusion zinnia is probably Profusion White. If you grow zinnias for their hot colors, 'Knee-High Red' will be a treat.

As with most zinnias, 'Knee-High Red' is very drought tolerant. It doesn't even mind humidity. Unlike most zinnias, 'Knee-High Red' will keep blooming even if the weather is unpredictable.
