  Most beauty treatments involve nothing more than some lotion or a simple face scrub. However, there are several luxury beauty treatments available that involve items like gold, caviar and diamonds. Whether it's a facial, body treatment or massage, these body treatments can cost large sums of money.
  
  

Gold Facial

• A gold facial treatment involves applying 24 carat gold to the face. The gold is mixed with ions, ultrasonic nano mist and gamma PGA. Benefits of gold include stimulating cellular growth of the skin to regenerate healthy cells. This 100 percent natural treatment can also help fight off free radicals and has been known to have anti-inflammatory properties. The gold is placed on the face in small sheets to cover the entire face, including the lips.
  
  

Evian Bath

• Hotel Victor in Miami offers an Evian bath filled with roughly 1,000 liters of Evian mineral water. In 2008, this bath cost $5,000, in addition to the $6,000 price tag of the penthouse suite in which it is exclusively available. After the staff have drawn the bath and set out flowers and candles for her, a guest can enjoy a long Evian soak in this room's 350-gallon, infinity edge tub.
  
  

Diamond Massage

• Spa on Location, located in Santa Monica, California, is a mobile spa that takes its spa treatments to clients' homes. At one point it teamed up with Hearts on Fire diamonds to offer a "Dream Girl" massage in which one million dollars worth of diamonds were placed along a client's spine and massaged into her back. Another diamond massage involves placing 1.5 carat diamond powder on the skin after a massage and then removing it after a few minutes. Diamonds are supposed to detoxify the skin and help defend it against electromagnetic waves emitted by devices like cell phones and microwaves.
  
  

Grand Luxe Facial

• This three-hour facial cost $750 in September of 2010 and is available at Spa Radiance in San Francisco. It begins with a cleansing and diamond peel, followed by lymphatic drainage of the skin and a microcurrents treatment, which lifts the skin and builds collagen. After that a caviar mask and eye treatment are applied. Finally, LED light therapy is performed. During the facial process, the client also receives a massage and anti-aging hand treatment.
