Why Nothing Can Replace Flip Charts?

In contrast to technologically advanced presentation tools the flip chart helps you at keeping things straightforward and to the point. It avoids making things intricate.

Studies have proved that using audio-visual effects in your presentation or teaching sessions rather tend to distract audience and students respectively from the actual message been delivered. Thus, a simple presentation tool/ teaching aid such as flip chart still make an ideal investment. Although being very modest in comparison to technologically advanced audio visual aids, the easel stand help you at making an everlasting impression on your audience. No matter whether it is an annual meeting, a conference, a group discussion, a seminar or a regular classroom lecture the free standing tool allows keeping things straightforward and to the point.

By using a Flip Chart for giving presentation you can enjoy several benefits that are not offered by so called state-of-the-art tools. For instance, in contrast to projector screens that accompany a lot of cable wires and need a projector plus power supply to run flip charts remain humble. They do not need to be plugged in or require any complementary aid to run your presentation. In fact, the lightweight easel stands can be shifted from one place to another anytime and that too without any assistance.

A flip chart is usually a pad of large white charts attached to a stand with the help of holder at the top. The pad allows you to turn over a page, when the first is used completely, to reveal the next. It basically comes with a tripod stand, five base castor mobile stand, loop legs stand or indestructible moulded plastic stand. This makes it easy to transport them from one room to another easily.

Another difference between flip charts and computer generated PowerPoint slides (that many of you tech freaks may have liked) is the fact that with the former you can keep your audience engaged. You can anytime hand over colour marker pen to anyone in the audience and ask him or her to share his or her views with others. This is of course not possible with PowerPoint presentations.

As a matter of fact this also gives audience an impression that you have an in-depth knowledge of your topic. Unlike projector screen presentations that have to be prepared in advance and may make people believe that you might have copied the content the flipchart helps you at doing it spontaneously. You write or draw in front of your audience making them believe that you are well aware of whatever you are preaching.
