Different Types of Airbrushing For Business
You will have to make sure you understand the airbrush's air pressure, distance from the surface you are painting and how to make beautiful pieces of art without the help of stencils.
It will also matter what type of airbrush you are using, whether it is single action or dual action airbrushes.
A single action airbrush is used when there is only 1 action used to do the work.
The main thing that you will have to consider when using the single action airbrushing style is that if you have the trigger down you got to keep moving as to not have a build up of paint.
It is easy to tell the difference between freehand and stencil designed work.
The freehand has more of a freeflow style to it.
Where you can tell that it is more of an art than a tracing job.
But if you are just starting out in doing airbrush art, it is suggested to start with stencils.
You will waste a lot less paint while you get used to the airbrush techniques.
There are a number of good places online to find stencils to use.
This ranges from everything from tribal type art to butterflies.
It really matters what you are trying to accomplish.
If you are really serious about starting your own airbrush side business, it would be a good idea to get a better deal by purchasing an entire kit.
These can be purchased online and they include everything from stencils, templates, compressors and of course airbrushes.
The prices range from a couple hundred dollars to 10's of thousands.
The thing you will want to remember is that it is important to know that you will get what you paid for.
Nothing is worse than being out doing work and have something break on you.
The money you could have made is now not going to happen because you went cheap on your products you bought.
There are a lot of different things you can airbrush.
This includes cars, t-shirts, and all sorts of clothing items to temporary tattoos.
Being in the industry we have found that doing tattoos can have the highest return on investment.
The reason that I say this is because you can charge up to $10 for a temporary tattoo, that takes you 2 minutes.
So in theory you can make a couple hundred dollars an hour.
Unlike t-shirts which take a lot of time and colors to look good.
And cars which take a lot of time and messing this up will cost you big time.
