    • 1). Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice cubes.

    • 2). Add the dry gin, sweet French vermouth, grenadine syrup and absinthe to the cocktail shaker.

    • 3). Cover the cocktail shaker with the palm of your hand or the top supplied with the shaker.

    • 4). Strain the cocktail into a chilled martini glass.

    • 5). Garnish the drink with a maraschino cherry and serve right away while ice cold.
