How to Install a Toilet in a Corner

    • 1). Place the flange over the drain pipe for the toilet. Mark the location of the screw holes with the pencil.

    • 2). Remove the flange and use the power drill to drill holes for the screws on the pencil marks made in step 1.

    • 3). Place the flange back over the drain pipe and insert the screws into the screw holes. Tighten the screws with the power drill.

    • 4). Insert the flange bolts into the open track of the flange. Adjust the bolts so they are evenly apart.

    • 5). Set the wax ring on top of the flange. The wax ring should be between the flange bolts.

    • 6). Set the corner toilet bowl onto the flange. The flange bolts should align with the bolt holes on the base of the bowl.

    • 7). Place the washer over the flange bolts. Tighten, by hand, the lock nuts onto the flange bolts. Secure the lock nuts tightly with the wrench.

    • 8). Insert the gasket over the flush valve on the bottom of the corner tank. Place rubber washers over the tank bolts and then insert the bolts into the holes on the inside of the tank.

    • 9). Set the tank onto the bowl. The tank bolts should align with the bolt holes on the bowl. Tighten, by hand, the lock nuts onto the bolts. Secure the tank bolts from the inside of the tank with a flathead screwdriver and under the tank with the wrench.

      Attach the water supply line to the fill valve on the underside of the tank. Secure the water-supply line to the fitting on the valve with the wrench.

      Open the shut-off valve for the water supply line to fill the tank. Place the lid on the tank to complete the installation.
