Wholesale Candle Wax Suppliers Offer Better Prices

Candle makers who find themselves making more and more candles, probably should move beyond the retail level when they seek out supplies, especially oft-used essential materials like the wax used to make them.
In this event, wholesale candle wax supplies are good source for variety and cost savings.
That's because wholesale suppliers are geared to selling goods in bulk, so the more you buy in one purchase, the lower the cost per unit.
Of course, the amount of material or "lots" have to be somewhat substantial to merit the transaction for the wholesaler, and make it worthwhile.
So while you may buy a couple pounds of candle wax at your neighborhood crafts store, you probably need to commit to fifty or hundred pounds at the wholesale level.
It stands to reason that you should be prepared to make a lot of candles going this route.
In fact, this is not a starting point in most cases but the sign of a successfully growing business or very high-level hobbyist.
Another positive feature of wholesale purchasing is the ability to negotiate terms.
Since you're committing yourself to buying relatively large amounts of inventory, it's in your best interests to try to bargain for a lower, and agreeable, price.
The merchant may be willing to bend a little and be flexible with per unit price for the sake of procuring a larger quantity sale.
It's a win-win situation.
A good way to find sources for wholesale candle wax is to go to candle related sites and look for pages or sections that reference supplies, merchants, vendors, or wholesale.
Internet directories such as DMOZ.
org can be another good source.
And of course a basic internet search using search terms such as wholesale and candle wax will turn up plenty of choices for you to peruse.
As a quick example, one candle wax purveyor listed different rates for soy wax as follows: 5 units at $42.
00 each, 10 units at $40.
50 each, and 36 at $39.
00 each.
So buying 10 units provides a 3.
5% savings, while 36 units doubles your savings to 7%.
Just imagine buying a hundred units.
5 unit pricing would cost you $4,200.
Buying sets of 36 results in a savings of around $300.
Not too shabby.
Shopping around for wholesale candle supplies is a great idea if you are an established candle maker with your own business or simply make a lot of candles.
