If you feel that you are exercising like Superman but have a body that hardly resembles a healthy man then you could be breathlessly going on the super-wrong path.
There might be specific reasons as to why you are not gaining muscle.
You should rectify those problems if you want to gain massive muscles and end up like Superman.
You could be burning your muscles by exercising everyday.
In your bid to become Superman quickly, you might be exercising for more than a couple of hours' on each and every day.
This will not give your body and muscles a chance to rest and in fact might only equip you with tiny muscles.
Exercise only for 4 days in a week and that too for only an hour everyday.
This will help you to gain maximum muscle mass as muscles grow only during rest after an adequate workout.
You could be stuck with lazy muscles that maybe too stubborn to grow.
If you have stuck to the same routine using the same weights and have only increased your reps then again you could be stuck with lazy muscles.
Your muscles need to be shocked into action after regular intervals so that they do not stop growing.
You could be dancing your muscles away.
If you have given much more time and energy to your dance or aerobic class instead of your weight training routine then you could be healthy, but minus those massive muscles.
In order to build up bulk, you need to conserve those calories and convert them into muscle.
Weight training should be given preference over other fat or muscle burning exercises.
You could be stuffing your body with the wrong foods.
If you think that eating more calories involves eating fatty and sugary foods then you will not end up with muscles.
Instead, you will feel lethargic and will not even be able to complete your exercise routines comfortably.
Green and leafy vegetables, fresh fruits, eggs, chicken and other lean meats, fish and milk products can be turned into healthy and tasty dishes and these products will provide all the fuel required for a massive and well-muscled body.
