How to Transplant Jasmin

Instructions

1

Dig a hole twice the size of the plant's root ball. Choose a sunny or partial shady location. Jasmine has a wonderful scent so it's nice to grow near a deck or under a bedroom window so the scent can be enjoyed.
2

Carefully remove the jasmine from the pot. For easier removal, gently roll the pot on its side, pressing down on it until the plant loosens.
3

Place the plant into the hole. If you are growing more than one jasmine plant, leave about 8 feet between them to ensure room for growth.
4

Fill it in with topsoil, mounding slightly at the top.
5

Water well and water daily until well established. Jasmine can be grown on a trellis if desired or pruned to grow as a bush.
