Venom Island Hopper Instructions
- 1). Flip the fuselage of the Island Hopper upside-down, exposing the landing gear recess.
- 2). Insert the base of the landing gear into recess in the bottom of the airplane's fuselage.
- 3). Place the backing plate over the base of the landing gear and glue it in place with foam-safe cyanoacrylate (CA) glue.
- 4). Push the two wings together and place them on your work surface underside-up.
- 5). Insert the wing spar into the crack at the middle of the wings' bottom and glue it in place with CA glue.
- 6). Place the square servo plate in the square recess by the wing spar and glue it in place with the CA glue.
- 7). Peel the protective film from its backing and lay it evenly over the center of the assembled wing.
- 8). Place the servo over the installed servo plate so its power cable faces the rear of the wing and screw it in place with the included screws using a screwdriver.
- 9). Install the servo linkages between the servo and the wing's flap hinges.

Place the wing over the fuselage of the aircraft and secure it in place with the included rubber bands in a cris-cross pattern over the top of the wing. - 11
Attach the horizontal tail to the rear of the fuselage with CA glue. - 12
Attach the vertical stabilizer to the horizontal tail with CA glue. - 13
Attach the control horns to the elevator with CA glue. - 14
Attach the opposite end of the control horns to the rudder with CA glue. - 15
Slide the propeller onto the propeller shaft and press the propeller cap in place. - 16
Insert the battery's connector into the AC power adapter and plug the adapter into a power outlet. Allow the battery to charge for at least three hours. - 17
Remove the battery cover at the rear of the transmitter and install eight AA alkaline batteries so their "+" and "-" signs match the corresponding signs in the battery compartment. - 18
Remove the screws holding the battery cover in place and remove the cover. - 19
Insert the battery into the battery compartment, connect the battery to the servo connector, close the battery compartment and screw the cover back in place.
