How to Turn a Combination Lock With Two Marking Lines
- 1). Spin the dial, as outlined in the instructions, so the first number of your combination lines up with the marking at the "12 o'clock" position, known as the "open" marking. The "change" marking is usually located at "11 o'clock."
- 2). Spin the dial the correct number of times left or right, stopping when the second digit is lined up with the open marking.
- 3). Turn the dial again, left or right through a particular number of rotations, until the third digit of your combination lines up with the open marker.
- 4). Pull down the shackle or latch and open the lock. Spin the dial when you are finished.
