How to Rip & Burn CDs With Media Player Classic

    • 1). Insert the original music CD into your computer. Double click the Windows Media Player Classic icon on the desktop to open it.

    • 2). Select "Copy From CD" from the Media Player Menu. The tracks from the CD will pop up with check marks next to them. Uncheck any tracks you do not want to rip. Select "Copy" and wait for the program to notify you that it is finished ripping the tracks.

    • 3). Remove that CD and insert the blank one.

    • 4). Select "Copy to CD" in the Media Player. This will bring up your music library. Locate the CD you just ripped and click it. Select the "Copy" button to begin the burn. Wait for the program to notify you that it is finished burning the CD. The CD burner drive will usually open once the CD is done.
