HP Pavilion 6683 Specs
- The Pavilion 6683 is a desktop computer system from Hewlett Packard (HP); Compaq founded the Pavilion series and HP continued it when it merged with Compaq in 2002. The 6683 is a budget product that provides a complete yet basic computer system. This model is no longer produced, since it was superseded by the a6683w in 2008.
- The Pavilion 6683 uses an Intel Celeron processor. This single-core processor has a speed of 533 megahertz, which is not very fast by modern standards. The processor uses an Intel 810 chipset to communicate with the machine's other components. The Pavilion 6683 included 64 megabytes of DDR SDRAM as standard, and a maximum of 256 megabytes can be supported.
- The Pavilion 6683 has just 10 gigabytes of storage space on a single hard drive. This doesn't leave a lot of space for user files after the necessary operating system and program files had been installed.
- The Pavilion 6683 uses integrated graphics processing, provided by the Intel 810 chipset on its motherboard. This uses up to 11 megabytes of video memory, shared from the memory available for other system processes. A Rockwell Chameleon combo card provides audio support.
- The Pavilion 6683 comes bundled with a 15-inch monitor, keyboard, mouse, two speakers, HP DeskJet 610CL printer and a selection of software CDs.
