    Uninstall Adobe Photoshop from Windows

    • 1). Click the Windows "Start" button and select "Control Panel." Depending on the configuration of your Start Menu, the Control Panel option may be located within the "Settings" sub-menu.

    • 2). Double-click the icon labeled "Programs and Features." This icon is labeled "Add or Remove Programs" in Windows XP and earlier Windows versions.

    • 3). Locate Adobe Photoshop in the list of programs. Right-click and select the option labeled "Uninstall," "Uninstall/Remove," or "Change/Remove." The label varies, depending on your Photoshop version and your Windows version.

    • 4). Follow the on-screen prompts to remove Adobe Photoshop and its associated components.

    Uninstall Adobe Photoshop from Mac OS X

    • 1). Open Adobe Photoshop. Click "Help" in the top menu bar, select "Deactivate," and then follow the on-screen prompts to deactivate the program.

    • 2). Close Adobe Photoshop.

    • 3). Open the following folders from your desktop: "Applications" > "Utilities" > "Adobe Installers."

    • 4). Double-click the Photoshop installer program. Authenticate as an administrator when prompted.

    • 5). Select the "Remove Components" option, and then follow the on-screen prompts to remove Adobe Photoshop and its associated components.
