How To Use the Weston Pasta Maker
- 1). Prepare pasta dough as directed. Keep the dough covered until just before ready to use.
- 2). Assemble the pasta maker by sliding the roller onto the base. Insert the handle into the roller.
- 3). Secure the base of the pasta maker to the edge of a table using the clamp.
- 4). Move the roller into the first position, which creates the largest gap between the rollers.
- 5). Feed the pasta though the rollers to create a flat sheet of dough. Repeat this by folding the dough over and re-feeding it through the rollers. Do this as many times as necessary to achieve a consistent sheet of dough.
- 6). Change the setting on the rollers to make thinner sheets of pasta and repeat the rolling process until the desired thickness is achieved.
- 7). Slide the cutting rollers onto the base and select the desired cut of pasta.
- 8). Feed the dough sheets through the cutting rollers. Cut the pasta with a knife when the desired length is achieved. Feed the remaining dough through the cutters.
- 9). Disassemble the pasta maker and clean by brushing off dough from the rollers.
