    The Head

    • 1). Cut the paper so it is 8 inches by 6 inches.

    • 2). Fold the paper in half width-wise. Unfold it again.

    • 3). Fold the paper over 2 inches length-wise.

    • 4). Place your finger on the middle fold from Step 2. Fold over the left corner on the 2-inch fold from Step 3. This will create a triangle. Do the same with the right corner. The triangles will be the ears of the paper tiger.

    • 5). Turn the paper over so the ears are against the table and pointing up.

    • 6). Make two marks one inch from the center of the fold at the bottom of the paper. Draw a line from the top center of the paper to the mark to the left of the fold at the bottom.

    • 7). Make two folds along the lines you drew in Step 6. Bring those two folds together, then flatten it. This is the nose of the tiger.

    The Body

    • 1). Cut the paper so it is 8 inches by 8 inches.

    • 2). Fold the paper in half diagonally.

    • 3). Tuck the top of one corner over along the fold. This will be the top of the triangle, and the top of the tiger's body.

    • 4). Fold back the side of the triangle by one half. Do the same with the other side. These will be the tiger's front legs. They should like two triangles on either side of the opening of the triangle.

    • 5). Cut a long strip from the scraps of paper to make the tail.

    • 6). Tape the tail to the inside bottom of the fold.

    Finish the Tiger

    • 1). Draw eyes, a mouth, whiskers and stripes on the face of the tiger.

    • 2). Draw stripes on the body of the paper tiger.

    • 3). Tape the head to the inside of the fold at the top of the triangle.
