Can Someone Who Has a Full-Time Job Realistically Start an eBook Business on the Side?

103 6
Sometimes even people with full-time jobs have a desire to start an at-home business.
Perhaps you need some extra income, or are saving money for a special purpose.
A side job can also provide peace of mind, especially in an economy where job layoffs are common.
Some people also choose an eBook publishing business as a second job just because it is something they truly enjoy doing.
Whatever your reason, it is entirely realistic and doable to operate an eBook publishing business in your spare time, even if you also have a full-time job.
You can work your writing and publishing schedule around your other job responsibilities, perhaps choosing to write for an hour before going to work, or after work.
Some people with very busy weekday work schedules choose to work their eBook business solely on the weekends, which can be an excellent strategy.
Because you don't need any special equipment or office to successfully run your business, you have a lot of freedom as to how you choose to write.
You could even combine fun and work by taking your laptop to the park, and write your eBook while you enjoy the outdoors.
If you are working your eBook business at a second job, you should try to commit to working on your business according to some sort of schedule that works for you.
If you commit to an hour each morning, or perhaps write during your lunch break at work, stick to it.
If you do this, you will have your first eBook ready for publishing and marketing before you know it.
