MLM success, Mike Dillard, started out in multi-level marketing back in 2000; just about the time that replicated MLM business websites were being used. He started out with the idea of becoming an MLM success, becoming an entrepreneur, generating a residual income. Mike Dillard's Story

Mike Dillard got started in the network marketing industry right out of college. He tells about how at that at that time, he was awfully shy, had very little self-confidence and had no money. He had to get a job to take care of the bills, and in addition, he wanted to conquer his fear of talking to people.

He took a position as a recruiter calling 200+ doctors' offices, daily, to overcome the fear picking up the phone and talking to prospects. After a few days, he had no problem picking up the phone confidently.

Next, he found a position as a waiter at PF Changs. This freed up his days to concentrate his efforts on multi-level marketing. Mike attempted all the traditional business building methods, invited prospects to home based presentation, handed out flyers, everything and anything without a lot of results.

Mike started reading books and listening to recordings. He discovered target marketing, going after the prospects that were already interested in what you're selling. He learned about leadership. He started calling 100 to 200 people off genealogy lists, on a daily basis, still without much results.

He thought about how life could be so much better if he could get prospects to get in touch with him. So, he thought about what he must do to get at least 5 to 10 prospects to make contact with him on a daily basis. He searched for a mentor. He learned about attraction marketing. Mike learned that prospects will join your team when they see you as a leader who can offer them value. He positioned himself as a leader, rather than chasing after prospects.

After struggling for over 6 years, falling deep into debt, and even pawning his possessions just to eat, he finally figured things out, and discovered the art of magnetic sponsoring. Initially, he made what he learned and used available to members of the company he was in. Then he began teaching people, in any opportunity, how to attract endless new prospects and customers to them.

Today, Mike has built a multiple 7-figure business, using the power of the Internet, in the MLM industry. He teaches people that being a leader is a choice you make for yourself, now. It's a state of mind, a position that you put yourself into. It's the ability to tell someone else what to do next.

Mike Dillard teaches people to stand out from the rest by being honest, having integrity, and giving value. Some main things that he suggests people focus on are:

1. Learn online lead generation and apply one method until you are generating 30 to 50 leads daily.
2. Learn to convert those leads into sales or prospects for your business.
3. Learn to talk on the phone to prospects and get them enrolled on your team.
4. Focus on one outcome or project at a time and do 3 to 5 activities daily to accomplish it.
