      New York City is one of the most visited cities on the planet. There is so much to do, that you don't even scratch the surface after one trip. Whether you visit the Statue of Liberty or see a show on Broadway, there is plenty for you and your family to enjoy in New York.

    Children's Museum of Manhattan

    • The Children's Museum of Manhattan offers exhibits for kids of all ages, from toddlers to middle-schoolers. Many of the exhibits deal with art and technology such a working television studio and all kinds of other gadgets for inquisitive children to play with. In the summer, outdoor water exhibits teach about currents and floating. The museum also hold special exhibits and various workshops.

    Statue of Liberty

    • The Statue of Liberty is one of New York City's defining structures. The iconic green statue, sculpted by Frederic Auguste Bartholdi, was given to the United States by France. It is a symbol of freedom and democracy. It was dedicated in 1886 and became a national monument in 1924. Although people could not visit it after the attacks of 9/11, the monument was fully reopened to the public on July 4, 2009.

    FAO Schwarz

    • If your kids love toys, FAO Schwarz is the place to take them. A mainstay in the ciry since1880, FAO Schwarz is a world famous toy store, featured in such films as Tom Hanks' big. While Toys "R" Us bought FAO Schwarz in 2009, the store will retain its name or branding. The store is most famous for its stuffed animals, wooden toys and big selection of games.

    Central Park

    • If you are looking for a little respite from all the noise and the buildings, New York's famous Central Park is the place to go. It contains 800 acres of playgrounds, meadows and ponds. Highlights include the Wollman Skate Rink and Belvedere Castle, a small Gothic castle designed by park creator Frederick Law Olmsted. Central Park is a great place to go for a stroll, picnic or relax on a hot summer day.
