Camping is a great way to retreat from the daily grind and enjoy the freedom and relaxation of the outdoors. Georgia is the home of beautiful lakes, rivers and mountains. Retreating to a private campground might have additional activities such as horseback riding, hayrides and other country comforts that public campgrounds might not offer. - To experience 300 acres of meadows, woods, wildflowers and more, the Trackrock Campground has a lot to offer its patrons. Its borders back up to a national forest and provides secluded wild beauty for camping and relaxing outdoors.
The campgrounds have a wide range of amenities, including laundry service, central/limited wireless Internet access, water and picnic tables.
Swimming, fishing, hiking, hayrides and horseback riding are among the various activities available at Trackrock. Cabins also are available for rental.
As of 2010, rates for power and water hookup ranges around $150 for the week.

A full hookup with water and 30-amp electric costs around $26 a night as of 2010. Hiking and fishing are available and a camp store is on site.

jennyscreek.com/ - For a cool mountain retreat, consider Enota Mountain campgrounds. Surrounded in the North Georgia Mountains, Enota provides a host of activities and amenities for all ages of visitors.
Swimming, volleyball, fishing, hiking, farm tours and a gift store are among the offerings at this campground.
Enota also provides campsites to large groups of visitors as well. Campsites range anywhere from $10 to $30 as of 2010.

enota.com/ - For camping closer to the metro Atlanta area, Stone Mountain Park is a popular choice. Rates range anywhere from $30 to $70 a night depending on the amenities and services desired as of 2010. There also is a fee to enter the park.
