You want to save your marriage or relationship, or get your ex back and your family does not want reconciliation.
This seems to present you with a "...
lose my lover or lose my family...
" kind of situation.
Right? However, that is not necessarily true.
You can restore your relationship without losing your family's good graces.
Here are a few simple steps to help you out.
Hear your family out- and silently disagree.
There is no need to argue with your family.
They, no doubt, love you very much.
They want to look out for you and your feelings.
However, advice from your family is skewed by the fact that they are, indeed, YOUR family.
They have seen your hurt and anger, and simply do not want you to hurt any more.
Understand that they can never completely understand.
I doubt that your family really knows the anguish that you feel just being away from your lover or spouse.
They don't understand that your feelings are not caused by your lover, but by being away from your lover.
It is impossible for them to understand exactly how you feel.
They are not you.
Only you know what is best for you, and you must pursue your relationship because YOU want to regardless of what your family feels.
Act on your own - with or without their support.
Once your family sees you and your spouse or lover together and happy again, they will most likely accept that you are in the relationship and respect the fact that you must do what is right for you.
That, after all, is what being a family is all about, right? Each member living their own lives, with a common bond that cannot be broken by a disagreement here and there.
Remember, There is no 'magic' to getting your ex back.
It's all about dealing with their emotions, and subconsciously changing their perception of you.
