Place the right side of the quilted fabric rectangle (8 1/2 inches wide by 9 1/2 inches long) against the tabletop so that you are looking at the wrong side of the print/color of the fabric. Choose one 8 1/2-inch-wide edge to be the "top" of the slipcover case. Fold the top 8 1/2-inch-wide edge over 1/2-inch against the wrong side of the fabric, and pin.

    • 2). Sew the pinned edge of the slipcase cover using the zigzag stitch on the sewing machine, removing the pins as you sew. This is the hemmed edge of the top of the glasses slipcover.

    • 3). Fold the quilted rectangle in half, vertically, so that the rectangle is now 4 1/4 inches wide and the right side of the fabric print/color is touching. You will be looking at the wrong side of the fabric print/color, or the "inside" of the glasses slipcase. Pin the sides and the bottom, unhemmed edge.
