Rating for the 5 Speed KitchenAid Blender
- 1). Place a food that you would commonly blend into the appliance and replace the lid. Set the blender onto the highest speed and time how fast it takes for the blender to reach your ideal consistency. Rate the blender's speed on a scale from one to five, based on how fast it was able to do the above task, with five being the best.
- 2). Rinse out the blender and place five or so ice cubes into the blender. Set the blender to the appropriate ice setting. Time how quickly and how accurately the blender is able to crush and blend the ice. Rank the blender on a scale of one to five.
- 3). Rank the blender's noise level based on the two steps you've just completed, on a scale of one to five, with five being very quiet.
- 4). Turn the plastic vessel part of the blender towards you and read how many ounces it holds. Most KitchenAid blenders range from 24 to 56 oz. sizes. If you have a large household, you'll want a larger blender. If you have a smaller household, you'll want a smaller blender. Rank the blender's size on a scale of one to five, depending on your needs.
- 5). Look at the blender's color, price and weight and rank all these aspects on a scale of one to five based on your own personal preferences. For example, you might give the color red a high score, but someone else might give it a low score. A price of $130 might be expensive to you and receive a low score, but might seem quite reasonable to someone else.
