Making jewelry is not only enjoyable, but it gives you the ability to create fashion accessories for your personal use. Easy beaded jewelry crafts include the use of beading string or wire, beads of your choice and jewelry findings such as lobster clasps or ring clasps. With a creative eye for detail, you can construct a beaded necklace or bracelet quickly.

A simple beaded bracelet idea requires 9 inches of clear jewelry wire, approximately 100 seed beads and a toggle clasp set. Use a bead stopper at one end of the length of wire and slide a series of seed beads down the length of wire to fill it up as wished. You will need anywhere from 40 to 100 seed beads, as they are tiny. Secure the toggle clasp to the wire, completing the bracelet.

    Color by Numbers

If you've never painted or drawn before but you still want to create artistic pieces worthy of wall-hanging, you can experiment with assorted "paint-by-numbers"-style projects. Using a paint by numbers project isn't a lazy way to be artistic; instead, it trains you to keep your hand steady and eyes focused on different color types. Color-by-numbers projects can even be custom designed. After practicing with commercial numbered projects, printing out your own version and numbering it gives you the ability to take control of your artistic talents. Eventually you can graduate from color-by-numbers to full-on painting on canvas, if you want to.

Making soaps can be a creative hobby that results in pampering products for yourself and loved ones. Melt-and-pour soap bases make this craft hobby even easier and safer to accomplish, eliminating the need for using lye and other chemicals in the process. You can liquefy melt-and-pour soap base in a microwave and stir in additives such as essential oils and grape seeds for exfoliation. Different melt-and-pour soap bases are available, including goat milk, hypoallergenic, and honey.
