How to Remove Tile Glue from Grout
- 1). Wet a cotton square with the acetone-based fingernail polish remover. Cotton squares are small squares of cotton, much like a cotton ball, that are found in the cosmetics section of any grocery store.
- 2). Rub the glue with the fingernail polish remover until the glue is all gone. You will probably need to replace the cotton square as you go; use as many as you need.
- 3). Rinse the area and wipe it down with a damp cloth. This will remove all the excess acetone-based fingernail polish remover.
- 4). Repeat as necessary.
