Red Cat Wine is formed by Hazlitt Vineyard. The wine was originally known as HHJ Wine, also identified as Red Catawba. It was named following the local grapes from which it was manufactured, and finally received the loved nickname of Red Cat.

The wine's history holds an exciting report of seduction and young indiscretion.  The wine was in fact in continuation before the Hazlitt Winery exist. Jerry Hazlitt made this wine in order to enjoyment with his family and party members in the beginning of 1980. Jerry manufactured the first batch of Red Catawba in a wooden barrel in his driveway, where native grapes were stomped in usual fashion to produce wine for private use.

Since the story goes, Jerry's sons were quite fond of being host feminine friends, and took it on their behalf to get some of their father's wine for a harbor party that really featured a domestic hot barrel. The boys found that their father's "home made wine" rapidly removed the old choices of consumers, making several much more insufficiently clothes hot tubbers.
Red Cat has gained a popularity over time as a wine recognized among the school crowd. T-shirts and other printed notes on things sporting the Red Cat name are well-liked. The cult following of the wine is boasted by its lucky charm, a six foot red cat who often brings party members to the winery in the Red Cat mantra.

A large number of tourists meet the mascot each year and participate in the Red Cat mantra. It provided the occasion to laugh many individuals with the tales of boys of Hazlitt and often results in tell other stories of such nature in this sequence.

A wine producer that started as a house wine making enterprise in which grapes were once consumed in a wood made barrel in the driveway has developed into among the many best within New York. The native distribution of Hazlitt wine has extended to a world-wide bazaar. Red Cat Wine is sold in more that twenty varieties right and proper to the tastes of high-pitched wines in addition.  It certainly still bears a favorite place among the hot tubbing crowd.
