How to Build an Easy & Accurate Catapult
- 1). Snap the two wire clips outward and upward on a bulldog clip. Leave them in this extended position rather than in their usual position (which is ordinarily designed to pin both sides of the clip tightly together).
- 2). Take the ruler and place the bulldog clip over one end so that the clip's handles are extended down both sides of the ruler. Push the bulldog clip fully over the end of the ruler so that the end of the ruler rests up against the inside base of the clip.
- 3). Place the ruler on a work surface so that it is resting on its flattest side.
- 4). Thread one end of the rubber band up and under the end of the top bulldog clip handle. Push the other end of the rubber band through the end you have just threaded through the handle and pull it tight.
- 5). Practice firing your projectiles until you can maintain a level of accuracy. Place a projectile into the back of the rubber band and stretch the band backward down the ruler before releasing it to shoot.
