How to Make Embellished Belt Buckles
- 1). Clean the belt buckle thoroughly with soap and water. Dry the belt buckle with paper towels. Set the belt buckle on a flat working surface covered with newspaper.
- 2). Layout the pattern of beads and other flat-backed embellishments on the belt buckle. Rearrange as needed until you are happy with the design.
- 3). Place a dab of epoxy-based glue, like E-6000, on your newspaper. Pick up the embellishments one at a time with tweezers. With your other hand, insert a toothpick into the glue.
- 4). Place a small amount of glue on the back of your embellishments. Attach the embellishments to your belt buckle. Repeat until all of the embellishments are secured with glue.
- 5). Allow the glue to dry for at least 24 hours. Place the belt buckle on your belt.
