How to Cook with Visions Cookware

    • 1). Pour six cups of water and two tablespoons of salt into a 3.5 quart Visions saucepan on a stove burner set to high. Watch as the heat quickly begins to cause small bubbles to form on the bottom of the pan. Cover your saucepan to trap heat and steam for faster boiling.

    • 2). After your water has reached a rapid boil, carefully pour in half a pound of rigid or tubular pasta like penne or rotini. The pasta will be subjected to two other cooking methods after the boil and must hold up without becoming soggy in the final dish.

    • 3). Remove your pasta from the heat when it just begins to get a little soft. Rinse it in a strainer under running cold water to stop the cooking. The pasta should be firmer than you would serve for immediate eating. Depending on the size and thickness of your noodles, cooking will take between six to eight minutes.

    • 4). Put the noodles back into the same Visions saucepan and stir in one cup of pasta sauce and a quarter cup of grated Parmesan cheese. This mix is the base of your pasta bake and can be stored inside the Visions pan for up to a week in the refrigerator or a month in the freezer before use.

    • 5). When you are ready to complete the meal, remove your Visions saucepan from the fridge or freezer and place it in the microwave with the lid on for a quick five minute warm up while you preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

    • 6). Top your warmed pasta mixture with half a cup of mozzarella cheese and sprinkle a light dusting of Italian seasonings before placing the Visions saucepan into the preheated oven uncovered.

    • 7). When the cheese on top has melted and begun to brown, remove the Visions pan from the oven and place it on a hot pad on your dinner table. Serve yourself and guests directly from the pan, being careful not to touch the hot sides.
