The Benefits of Cooking For Two
Something to keep in mind when cooking for two; it's much more fun when both people are actively involved in the entire process.
This makes the cooking process more of an event than a chore.
Although most recipes are designed to feed four to six people don't let that get in your way.
There are two different approaches you can take.
The fist approach is to prepare the entire recipes and have leftovers or if you don't like leftovers you can cut the recipe in half.
When you cook a meal designed for four you also have just cut your normal cooking time in half.
Cooking seems to be an art that has been forgotten.
With all of the fast food restaurants out there we sometimes find it easier, and just a cost effective, to pick up a quick meal.
We all know that none of that garbage is healthy and it also takes away from the bond and romance you can create while preparing a meal together.
You also miss out on the visualization process when you don't cook at home.
How attractive can you make a meal from McDonalds? On the other hand you can use your creativity to decorate your food and your dishes when you choose to prepare your own meals.
You're also allowed a certain amount of freedom without waste when you want to try new dishes.
If it goes astray you can throw what little you have left over out with little or no cost.
Cooking for two allows you to explore many different opportunities because you don't have to worry about so many taste buds being offended.
In my opinion one of the best benefits of cooking for two is you can afford to enjoy some finer foods more often than when you're cooking for an entire family.
Go ahead and splurge on that lobster tail or filet mignon that you love so much.
