    • The Georgia Institute of Technology H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering is the largest industrial engineering school in the United States. The institution offers undergraduate, graduate and doctoral level academic programs. Georgia' Tech's undergraduate program offers instruction in the basics of engineering in concert with a standard collegiate liberal arts program. Nearly one dozen Master's level degree paths are offered spanning the entire realm of the discipline including operations research, science and health disciplines and computational science. The Stewart School also offers a plethora of doctoral degree programs, ranging in focus from economic decision analysis to bioinformatics and human integrated systems.

    University of Michigan

    • The University of Michigan School of Engineering offers a wide variety of interdepartmental and joint degree programs in industrial engineering in addition to it's standard undergraduate, post-graduate and doctoral program offerings. Master's level students have the option of combining their industrial engineering degree with the school's MBA program. Undergraduate level coursework is highlighted by operations modeling, data processing, optimization methods and statistical modeling. Students may apply to the school's Ph.D program directly after completing their undergraduate coursework.

    Purdue

    • The Purdue School of Industrial Engineering offers undergraduate, graduate and doctoral concentrations across four major facets of industrial engineering. These include operations research, manufacturing, human factors and production systems. Purdue's undergraduate program focuses on the design and analysis of basic production systems, complete with an analysis of their historical and cultural genesis and scientific ramifications. The school's Master of Science in Industrial Engineering provides for an in depth focus on advanced engineering systems technology. Coursework includes advanced production control, production management control and advanced decision theory.
